TEGFCU hosts these events to provide community residents and businesses with a safe and secure way to discard documents that contain confidential and personal information.
Safeguard against identity theft and fraud while removing all those financial statements, tax returns, medical bills, receipts, and any other confidential documents cluttering your home.
Acceptable Items:
Paper (white or colored), file folders, checkbooks, staples and paper clips, and small quantities of plastics, including ID cards and credit cards.
Unacceptable Items:
Hard drives, backup tapes, x-rays, videos, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, hazardous material, syringes or needles, heavy metal objects such as nuts, bolts, or metal plates, black plastic/garbage bags, and cardboard boxes.
