TEGFCU offers a safe place to save money, with deposits insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $250,000 per individual depositor. The full faith and credit of the United States backs the Share Insurance Fund.
New members must open a checking account with at least $50, download the TEG app, and sign up for eStatements during setup to qualify for a bonus. Members must be 18+ and in good standing to receive the bonus within 30 days of new account verification. Bonuses are taxable interest income reported on IRS Form 1099-INT. Bonuses may be reversed if the account closes within 12 months. Refer unlimited members, but each new member can only be referred once and claim one offer. Staff and BOD are not eligible.
