Reflecting on International Credit Union Day 2025

Published on October 17, 2025

Yesterday, October 16, we proudly joined credit unions around the world in celebrating International Credit Union Day, a day that honors the mission and values that make credit unions unique: people helping people.

This annual event reminds us why credit unions like TEG Federal Credit Union exist; to serve our members, strengthen our communities, and make a meaningful impact through financial cooperation and care.

Why International Credit Union Day Matters

Each year, International Credit Union Day celebrates the cooperative difference that sets credit unions apart from traditional banks. As a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution, TEG Federal Credit Union is committed to helping our members achieve financial success through personalized service, better rates, and community focused programs.

Celebrating Our Members

At the heart of everything we do are our incredible members. Your trust, loyalty, and engagement make TEG what it is today. Whether you stopped by a branch yesterday to enjoy treats, chatted with our staff, or simply continue to choose TEG for your financial needs, we are so grateful for you.

Your support allows us to continue growing, innovating, and giving back; not only to you, but to our entire community.

Thank You for Being Part of the TEG Family

From all of us at TEG Federal Credit Union, thank you for celebrating with us and for being the reason we love what we do. International Credit Union Day may come once a year, but our appreciation for you lasts all year long.

We look forward to continuing to serve you, support your goals, and strengthen our community, together.
