With 22 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, Spencer Fern leads our Commercial Lending team. His depth of knowledge and experience in the local market gives Spencer the expertise needed to successfully help our business members achieve their goals. What really sets Spencer apart, however, is his long history in the Hudson Valley area and his dedication to its businesses and the community at large. Spencer’s career focus has always been on creating trusted partnerships and lasting relationships. As a result of spending his career in both the branch and corporate setting, he demonstrates a high level of attentiveness and responsiveness to those he works with. As a Commercial Lender, Spencer provides businesses with credit solutions, financing to expand or purchase equipment, and financing to assist in the acquisition of real estate and investment properties.

Spencer received his Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Management from SUNY Cortland and currently holds his Series 7, Series 63, Series 26 and New York Life and Health Insurance licenses. He resides in Cornwall with his wife Paula and their twin girls Paige and Payton.
