Message from the President

Hello, my name is Ron Flaherty, President & CEO of TEG Federal Credit Union. I am writing to you today to let you know that TEG is with you throughout this Covid-19 crisis. Our first priority is the safety and well-being of our staff and our members. We have taken the first steps by reallocating our resources to areas that we see our business transforming too. Our branches are currently open but working with limited staff. We are keeping those staff members who are most at risk out of harm’s way. They are either working from home or working away from public interaction. We will remain open however, we may go to drive ups and/or appointment interaction only. Your money with us is safe, and insured by the NCUA. We are adapting as necessary to the ever-changing environment, and will continue to do so.
Our staff is here to help! Many are working remotely to ensure that business goes on as laid out in our pandemic plan. Our Solution Center staff is here to help by answering questions you may have and are doing their best to keep up with the volume of calls coming in. We are looking at ways to defer loan payments using the options we have available to us. Please go to our website for the current updates or call and let us know your situation so that we can apply the right solution for you.
Please try to be patient as our staff is working extremely hard to try to cope with this unprecedented situation. We will all get through this together as long as we do the right things, are understanding, and demonstrate compassion for one another.
Please stay safe, follow the recommendations from our Government and Healthcare professionals and we will come through this crisis stronger and more appreciative of what we have and one another.
