Become a Member of TEG Federal Credit Union!
Membership Eligibility
Membership into our credit union is open to EVERYONE WHO LIVES, WORKS, WORSHIPS, OR ATTENDS SCHOOL IN DUTCHESS, ORANGE, and ULSTER COUNTIES in NY. There is no cost to join our Credit Union and the benefits you realize are many. Once you join, all of your family members may also join. Also, once you become a member, you can remain a member for life regardless of where you may move and regardless of any changes in your employment (as long as you are a member in good standing).
Apply For Membership
If you are eligible, you can apply for membership by clicking on the PDF link below to print and fill out the membership application. Once completed, please bring the application to any branch along with the required information required to open a personal account (noted below). You will also need to deposit $5 in your new share account to activate your membership.

What do I need to open a personal account?
- A fully completed membership application (or, you can fill out an application at any branch).
- Proof of Residence if different from Valid Photo ID or if mailing address is a P.O. Box.
- Proof of Identification
- Your Social Security Card, AND
- Unexpired government-issued identification evidencing citizenship or residence that bears a photograph. Examples include a driver’s license, military ID, or passport.
- For Non-US Citizens, One or More of the Following:
- IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
- Passport Number And Country Of Issuance
- Alien Identification Card Number
- Number and Country of Issuance of any other Government-Issued document Evidencing Nationality or Residence and Bearing a Photograph or Similar Safeguard.
